Greco-Linden Hills Painting & Wallcovering Company was founded in 1970 in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis, 1/4 mile west of Lake Harriet a few houses from Linden Hills park. Jim Triantafilou and his family immigrated from Greece with the work ethic and the vision of developing a high quality local painting company that would be second to none in the Twin Cities. In 1979 Jim's son Steve graduated from Hennepin Technical College and Minneapolis Community College and the University of Minnesota with degrees in painting and decorating and business. While attending the technical school, Steve earned the highest honor by winning the First place gold medal of the Minnesota Skill Olympics, representing his school. Upon graduating, Steve joined his father full time and helped further direct Greco-Linden Hills Painting to truly become the first class company that it is today. In 1990, Jim retired and Steve has been operating the company ever since. Greco-Linden Hills Painting and Wallcovering Company is one of the few truly top of the line, local family owned, owner-operated painting companies. Currently, the company is comprised of Steve the working owner and two other painters with a combined 55 years experience and training. We continue to proudly serve our founding Linden Hills, Minneapolis, adjacent classic Edina, as well the rest of the metro area if our schedule permits.
